Governance

Reflyx Governance follows the fundamental principles of Reflyx itself. We believe that a decentralized structure of autonomous entities, each responsible for its own information needs, but working together within constraints and toward the goal of advancing the organization goals.

Decentralized Organization

We believe that a global operating system like Reflyx OS must be managed by as many people as possible and with great transparency. The Reflyx Foundation is a for-profit organization, but we believe that the profits should be shared with everyone involved in making this a success. You can get access to the DAO and start getting involved in decisions by acquiring a few RFLX tokens and giving your opinion and vote on proposals.

Decision Structure

The following diagram shows the governance structure of the Reflyx Foundation.

DAO

At the top and responsible for the overall direction of the platform, the DAO is at the center of all decisions. For example, the creation or destruction of an initiative, the phase budget allocation, new releases, the appointment of the executive council, etc.

Executive Council

Responsible for the execution of the DAO decisions, the executive council is composed of :

• The President: Responsible for the vision, direction and protection of the platform. He acts are the ultimate product owner for the platform. The President has an additional vote for decisions taken at the council level.
• Finance Officer: Oversee all financial activities including investor relations, treasury management, and financial reporting.
• Adoption Officer: Oversee the overall human, organization, partners adoption of the platform by various industries. Includes marketing, evangelism, partnerships, community and sales.
• Operation Officer: Oversee project execution, technical infrastructure, security, travel, worldwide offices, etc.
• Legal Officer: Oversee worldwide regulatory compliance, litigation, and risk management.
• Technology Officer: Oversee the overall technology strategy, architecture, development, and innovation surrounding the platform. In charge of R&D budgets.
• Initiative Managers (6): Each initiative manager will represent the reality of their respective initiative in the executive council.

Transversal Concerns

The six (6) transversal concerns shown as dotted gray boxes in the diagram above. Each of these concerns is managed by an officer, which will allocate a budget, objectives and a team for each initiative. Each initiative will apply the overall objectives to their reality, supervised by an officer's representative.

Initiatives

Initiative are autonomous organizations following the same model as the global Reflyx Foundation DAO, but for a specific domain. We're proposing to launch the project with 6 initiatives, but the DAO has the authority to create or destroy them as needed. So, each initiative has its ownj executive council, composed of the manager and the 6 concern leads to oversee the allocation of resources in order to reach their value-adding objectives.
