Governance - RFLX Token

The RFLX governance token is a ERC-20 token created on the Arbitrum blockchain (Ethereum level-2) that is used by members to vote for governance decisions. We elected to use Arbitrum because of the low transaction costs, the speed of confirmation as well as the notary nature of the platform, which fits perfectly for long-term DAO operation.

Token Price Evolution

RFLX will not be available on crypto exchnages, unless the DAO members decide to, but only after phase 3 or more. We want to make sure that there is a stability in the DAO membership as well as in the DAO funding, in world where everything is volatile and about the token price and market cap.

Starting from phase 4, we will allocate a liquidity pool in DEXes in order to support active trading of our governance token. The Liquidity Pool will be created from the Founders' token pool.

Founder's Pool Allocation

During Phase 0 and Phase 1, key contributors can get access to the founder's token pool by a DAO decision. Because founders have the control of the DAO, it is thus the decision of the founders to allocate part of their pool to a contributor.

Founders' Token Pool

Reflyx Founders owns 100% of the tokens before phase 0 (bootstrap). Based on the proposed distribution model, the founders will keep a majority of the tokens until phase 3. This is by design as we think that the early DAO will need guidance and protection if it is to survive. Founders having the vision and clear initial strategy to support Reflyx succes, we think that this is better to keep governance power concentrated.Starting at Phase 3 a maximum of 76% of tokens will be distributed and thus, founders will keep 24M tokens for governance power balance and future use. Founders will still have a very strong voice in the DAO, but this will gradually fade as more people are invested in the success of the organization and that the governance process is understood and enforced by more and more people.
